The program is a Public Relations (PR) and communications mentorship program dedicated exclusively to the business development needs of African Tech female founders.

The Future is Female Program has launched to provide the underserved market of African female founders of early-stage start-ups with the PR and communications insights, knowledge, and skills needed to gain visibility and grow their business. The program is aimed at African women based on the continent or in the diaspora, and are launching or growing a tech business for African markets or serving Africans in the diaspora. Arik Air The Official Airline of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations 22nd Annual Conference

New York, NY October 2011 Arik Air, West and Central Africa’s largest commercial and Africa’s fastest growing airline, has been named the official airline for the 22nd Annual General Meeting of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Lagos Chapter.

The 22nd Annual General Meeting will be held from October 14th – October 21st in Lagos, Nigeria. The theme of the conference explores how public relations can best be used to galvanize the Nigerian public towards the achievement of national targets and objectives. As the US is globally seen as being at the forefront of PR initiatives, strategies and best practices, the NIPR wanted to connect with a well established US PR expert to deliver their keynote speech.

We were delighted to find out at the end of 2012 that founder Claudine Moore had been invited to sit on the board of Social Media Week Lagos (SMWLagos). SMW takes place simultaneously in several global cities such as London, Berlin, Buenos Aires, and we have been attending SMW in New York City since it began in 2009.
