Claudine Moore 2012 Headshot

Professor Claudine Moore is a global award-winning public relations and communications leader and newly appointed global Managing Director, DE&I and Africa, Allison + Partners after leading her own boutique agency, C. Moore Media International Public Relations (CMM) for over a decade. She is also an Adjunct Professor at New York University, teaching Corporate Social Responsibility, and Global engagement. 

 Leveraging her passion for entrepreneurship and business development, Claudine launched an independent global consulting career providing a portfolio of expertise including media relations, crisis communications, strategic planning, social media strategy, internal communications, content creation, and personal branding. Claudine’s independent consulting work has also led to her working across Africa, including time spent working and living in Nigeria. Her consulting work also allows her to continue working with global brands alongside entrepreneurs. 

Before launching her agency, Claudine held leadership positions in global agencies and led the communications for Fortune 100 companies, heritage brands, and philanthropic organizations. Specializing in African markets for over a decade, Claudine led the communications for some of Africa’s most well-known business leaders and brands and now works with some of Africa’s leading and most well-funded tech startups.  

In July 2022 her boutique global agency C. Moore Media, International Public Relations was acquired by Allison+Partners (A+P) a top 15 global agency and one of the fastest-growing and most innovative agencies in the world. The acquisition expands A+P presence in Africa with Claudine at the helm as Managing Director, Africa. 

Claudine is a founding board member of Social Media Week, Lagos. Her experience in training US and international executives led to New York University inviting Claudine to be an Adjunct Professor at the School of Professional Studies. Claudine currently teaches Global Public Relations, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Marketing and Strategic Communications Writing. An avid writer, she previously had her own Huffington Post column and has provided content to media outlets, including CNN, Black Enterprise, PR Week, the International Public Relations Association, and Essence. 

Honored globally for her work, in 2023 Claudine was recognized as one of the Top PR Leaders to know by the Public Relations Society of America. In 2021 she was awarded the Best Leader in Public Relations and Communications by the World Communications Association, Davos, and in 2020 was listed on Provoke Media’s Innovator 25 List in EMEA, which features the top 25 most remarkable PR and communications innovators. Previous awards include 40 Under Forty US High Achievers and placement on the UK Powerlist, Britain’s Top 100 Most Influential People.  

A champion of African women in tech, Claudine launched The Future is Female Mentorship Programproviding early-stage African female tech founders with insights into PR and communications. Featured in Forbes magazine, the initiative’s goal is to raise the visibility of their startups, leading to premier partnerships and direct investment.

DAVID IDAGU

Dividing his time between Lagos and Nairobi covering East and West Africa, David is Allison+Partners Africa Regional Consultant providing Pan-African and regional PR, communications, and business development strategy, media relations, message development, and C-suite positioning for Africa and Africa diaspora clients. 

His expertise includes international, regional, and hyperlocal media relations in key African markets, corporate communications, reputation management, and influencer engagement. David has worked in multiple African markets and with startups in e-commerce, remittances, insurtech and logistics, including Copia Global, WorldRemit, WorldCover, Lori-system, AFEX, SystemOne, Konga, and The Africa Channel. 

He manages clients’ onsite events in various African markets and has collaborated with Allison+Partners’ team to execute successful events in multiple markets, including Kenya, South Africa, and Uganda. David was recently in Uganda as the e- commerce startup Copia Global celebrated its first anniversary of expansion into the country. Among the responsibilities are pre-event planning, guest invitation, and VIPs and dignitaries outreach, pre-event media meet and greet, media campaign/outreach, and influencer engagement. 

David is also one of the founding team members and mentors of The Future is Female Mentorship Program, a PR and Communications mentorship program exclusively for African Female tech founders and entrepreneurs. He has mentored female tech founders across Africa, including; Ghana, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, and Nigeria. A contributor to Pan African media, David authored  Top 5 PR Tips for African Tech Startups for Business Insider Africa. 

David is a mentor at Founder’s Institute, the world’s most proven network for turning ideas into fundable startups and startups into global businesses. He mentors and guides them in public relations and communications as they build and scale their businesses.

TOPE ADUBI 

Tope Adubi is a Digital Marketing Expert with over 10 years experience in the digital space. With an in-depth knowledge of digital marketing platforms and its usage across Africa, Tope worked as a digital marketing manager for the Tony Elumelu Foundation, currently the most impactful African-founded and funded philanthropy program, empowering African entrepreneurs. At the Foundation, she led the digital marketing activations, graphic designing for social media, website development, pay per click ads, Google search and display ads, email marketing with key stakeholders and social media  strategy to ensure consistent increase in the digital footprint of the brand year on year across the 54 Africancountries.

Prior to joining the foundation, Tope worked with Ogilvy One where she led the social media strategy for their biggest telecommunications client and grew their social media channels from 1000 to 1 million over a year. Before moving to Ogilvy, Tope worked as a business executive with DDB Lagos working on several accounts like MTN, FCMB, Knorr, Exxon Mobil and Lipton. Now working with Allison+Partners, Tope consults for Copia Global, one of Africa’s leading e-commerce brands and provides influencer engagement strategy, social media and overall digital marketing strategy to the brand.  

She is also a mentor at The Future is Female Mentorship Program, a proprietary African female founder initiative, where she coaches female founders across Africa in digital marketing best practices. 

Through the course of her career, Tope has worked with Heirs Holdings, Tony Elumelu Foundation, Avon medical, Transcorp Hotels, The Africa Channel, Demand Africa and UBA Bank. When Tope isn’t at work, she manages a travel blog that highlights different African countries, traditions/cultures and top places to visit in these countries.
