In July 2009, Claudine launched C. Moore Media, International Public Relations providing clients with international public relations and communication solutions. In addition she provides consultancy and freelance services to PR, advertising and marketing agencies. Her expertise in media relations, corporate communications, B-to-B communications, B-to-C communications, strategic positioning, marketing and branding are leveraged for both US and global initiatives on behalf of clients and agencies. Claudine was recently recognized on The Network Journal’s ’40 under Forty’ list of honoree’s for 2011 and in 2010 she was listed on the The UK 2010 PowerList, a list of Britain’s Top 100 Most Influential Black People endorsed by the British Prime Minister.
Claudine is an expert in public relations and marketing. Before re-launching C. Moore Media, she was the US Director, Marketing, Media Relations and Business Development at the prestigious global PR firm Hill & Knowlton. Her appointment to the firm was featured in the Wall Street Journal as well as a slew of trade publications. While at Hill & Knowlton she significantly increased the firm’s share of voice within top industry and business media, won key strategic public affairs and multicultural accounts for the firm, and was responsible for all business development activities in the US region. Prior to joining H&K, Claudine worked with WPP sister company G2 as the director of corporate communications for G2 Branding and Design and G2 Promotional Marketing. In addition, she has worked with McCann-Erickson (MRM Partners) as the worldwide public relations and business development manager. Claudine also provided strategic thinking, creative execution and sponsorship activation for brands and companies such as Nike, L’Oreal (Ralph Lauren Fragrances), Hewlett Packard, AstraZeneca, HSBC, The Plaza Hotel, Bank of America and Coca-Cola.
Previously, Claudine has worked as the Events Director for iCrossing, an interactive marketing firm, where she was responsible for planning and executing corporate marketing campaigns and special events.
Her wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise in the general and multicultural markets in combination with her superb reputation in the US, has firmly established her as a sought after consultant and advisor. This in turn led to the establishment of her own PR agency developing publicity campaigns for public affairs, corporate, lifestyle and entertainment clients. CMM clients currently include Sampo Corporation, Equinox Health Club, Oliver Scholars Program and award winning creative-design agency YARD where CMM works on initiatives for brands such as Laura Mercier, Jon Varvatos and Beringer Wines.
A native Brit, Claudine has lived in the US for 11 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) Degree in Social Science from South Bank University in London, a Postgraduate Diploma in Counseling and Psychotherapy from Regents College in London and a Master of Arts Guidance and Communications from Durham University, England.
She has taught Marketing Principles and Practices at Baruch College in New York City, and has been requested as a guest speaker and expert in corporate communications, marketing and entrepreneurship at New York University. She is affiliated with the St George’s Society, NYC and the US Black Ivy Alumni League.
